Ingredients to make Daal cutlet

  • Masoor daal- 1/4 cup
  • Arhar daal- 1/4 cup
  • Moong daal- 1/4 cup
  • Channa daal- 1/4 cup
  • Chopped onions - 1 medium size
  • Chopped green chilli- according to taste
  • Dhaniya+ pudina chopped finely
  • Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
  • Amchoor powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Haldi powder- 1 tsp
  • Jeera powder- 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • 1 big sized boiled potato for binding.
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • Bread crumbs for coating

How to make Daal cutlet

  1. Soak all the dal together.
  2. Grind them to a coarse paste.
  3. Mix all the ingredients ingredients and shape as per your choice. Make a thin batter of cornflour and water.
  4. Coat the cutlets with cornflour batter and bread crumbs. Shallow fry.
My Tip: Serve with spicy green chutney.
