Ingredients to make Chana daal and spinach roll in tomato gravy

  • For rolls........
  • Soaked chana daal- 1 cup
  • ginger paste- 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil 1 tsp
  • spinach leaves 6-7 blanched (soak in hot water for two minutes and then in cold water)
  • For gravy............
  • tomato puree 1 cup
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • water 3 tsp
  • oil 1 tsp

How to make Chana daal and spinach roll in tomato gravy

  1. Rolls.........
  2. Grind chana daal in mixer with 3 spoon water. It should be dry not watery.
  3. Add salt and ginger paste.
  4. Take a pan, add oil. Put daal mixture in it. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Take spinach leave. Put one spoon mixture on it and very carefully make roll. Make all rolls like this.
  6. For gravy.......
  7. Take a pan, add oil, add tomato puree. Cook for two minutes.
  8. Now add red chilli powder, soaked chana daal, 1 cup masala, turmeric and salt. Cook for 5-6 minutes. Turn off the gas.
  9. Take serving tray. Pour gravy on it . Now place rolls on it.
  10. Ready to relish this great dish.

My Tip:

When grinding chana daal very less water should be added otherwise it will be very difficult to make rolls.
