Ingredients to make Red lentil dumpling

  • 250 grams of red lentils/ masoor daal washed and soaked for an hour.
  • 2 large onions chopped
  • 2green Chillies chopped
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • oil for deep fry

How to make Red lentil dumpling

  1. Make a rough paste of the red lentils with very little water.
  2. Mix the chopped onions, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder and 2tsp of oil with the daal paste.
  3. Deep Fry them like parokas in middium flame.
  4. Serve hot.
My Tip: Adding little oil in the batter will make the pakoras crispy and soft from inside.
