Crispy Spicy Parwal Alu

Ingredients to make Crispy Spicy Parwal Alu

  • 500 gms- parwal (cut and fried)
  • 2 medium - potatoes (cut and fried)
  • 1 no - onion minced
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic minced
  • 1 tsp - sabut jeera
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1/2 tbsp - refined oil

How to make Crispy Spicy Parwal Alu

  1. Heat oil in a wok
  2. Add the sabut jeera
  3. Add minced onions and saute
  4. Now add ginger garlic minced
  5. Saute till pinkish in color
  6. Add the salt and masalas
  7. Add 1 tsp water and mix
  8. Immediately add the fried veggies
  9. Mix gently and cook for 5 minutes on slow flame
  10. Adjust spices and salt
  11. Cook on slow for 2 minutes with lid covered
  12. Switch off the gas
  13. Transfer in serving bowl
  14. Serve hot with phulkas or parathas
My Tip: Don't over cook as veggies will get mushy
