Kankar Kebabs

Ingredients to make Kankar Kebabs

  • Soaked split green gram- 50 gms
  • Boiled potato- 3
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Chopped green chilli- 2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander- 3 tbsp
  • Chaat masala- 1 tsp
  • Red chilli - 1/2 tsp
  • Bread crumbs- 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp

How to make Kankar Kebabs

  1. Mash the potatoes, add all spices.
  2. Add chopped green chilli, coriander, bread crumbs.
  3. Mix it well
  4. Now make round patty .
  5. Cover the patty with soaked split green gram.
  6. Fry all the patty on high flame first then medium flame.
  7. Cook it for 5 min both side.
  8. Serve hot and crunchy kebabs with green chutney or red chilli sauce.
My Tip: Cook on slow flame gives better crunch.
