Ingredients to make mogar and mutter parathas

  • yellow moong dal split 200 gms
  • soak dal for atleast half an hour
  • green peas 200 gms
  • green chilli paste 2tsp
  • Ginger paste 1tsp
  • Jeera 1tsp
  • Mint leaves chopped 2tbsp
  • Pinch of hing
  • salt as per taste for mogar masala
  • oil 1tbsp
  • Wheat flour 3cups
  • salt for wheat flour dough
  • water to knead dough
  • aamchur powder

How to make mogar and mutter parathas

  1. knead dough from wheat flour
  2. add salt in wheat flour
  3. dough should be soft like roti dough
  4. grind green peas without water
  5. add oil in pan
  6. switch on flame
  7. add hing as oil becomes warm
  8. add jeera
  9. add greenchilli paste and ginger paste
  10. remove water from mogar and add to oil
  11. now add grindedgreen peas
  12. keep sauteing till water evaporates
  13. add salt and aamchur powder
  14. add half lemon
  15. let it cool down for sometime
  16. add chopped mint leaves
  17. mix properly
  18. take little dough
  19. roll it with rolling pin
  20. roll half only
  21. keep little mogar masala in middle
  22. seal it from all the sides
  23. now roll it again
  24. shallow fry on tawa with ghee or oil
  25. you can skip oil also
My Tip: It will give more taste if mogar dal is soaked for more time
