Ingredients to make Bel ka sharbat

  • Wood apple (belfal) halved and seeded 1
  • sugar 1/3 cup
  • lemon juice 2 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder a pinch
  • 1/2 tsp black salt

How to make Bel ka sharbat

  1. Scoop out the flesh of the wood apple with a spoon and put into nonstick pan .
  2. Add 4 cups water and heat, add sugar and mix well.
  3. Add lemon juice and mix cook till sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and strain, set aside to cool then keep in a refrigerator to chill
  4. Pour into the glasses and served with a pinch of black salt and roasted cumin powder.
  5. You can also soak the pulp in water for a few hours and then strain the pulp through a sieve. Chill it.
