ABOUT Moong Dal and Coriander Cheela RECIPE

This recipe is very easy to make and a great way of adding protein in your breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong dhuli dal – 1/2 cup (washed and soaked in water for 4 to 5 hours)
  2. Fresh coriander leaves – 3 tablespoon (chopped)
  3. Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
  4. Green chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Ginger – ½ teaspoon (finely chopped)
  7. Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  8. Ghee or butter – to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Drain the excess water from soaked dal and put into the blender with the coriander leaves and make a coarse paste.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, ginger, salt, lemon juice and mix well
  3. Add water and make a pouring consistency batter.
  4. Heat non-sticky pan and spread some ghee over it.
  5. Now pour the spoonfuls batter over the pan and cook it from the both sides.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or sauce
