Ingredients to make Pineapple cake

  • Pineapple 1 can about 8 rings
  • Flour 220 gms
  • Butter 200 gms
  • Sugar 180 gms
  • Eggs 4
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Pineapple essence few drops ( optional)
  • Pineapple juice 100 ml

How to make Pineapple cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  2. Separate the eggs and whisk egg white in a separate bowl
  3. Add the yolks one by one beating well after each additions. You can use electric mixer too Fold in the flour and baking powder alternating with the pineapple juice. Make sure you end with the flour. Add the essence Fold in the egg whites gently
  4. Take and 8 inch round tin and line with baking paper. Pour the batter gently and tap twice. Arrange the pineapple slices on top
  5. Bake in a preheated over for about 45 minutes
