Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mota besan 1 kg.
  2. Sugar 1 kg.
  3. Ghee 100 gm.
  4. Ghee for frying as required
  5. Water 3.5 glass
  6. Saffron strands soak in 1tbsp milk 10-15

Instructions

  1. Firstly take some besan and churn it, then add 100 gms of ghee. Mix with hand and prepare a tight dough by adding some water.
  2. Heat some ghee in a pan.
  3. Take the dough and shape it by pressing it in first. And then deep fry on slow flame until it turns golden brown.
  4. Now take these golden brown mutthies and crush them finely in crusher and then churn again with the help of churner.
  5. Now add sugar in water and cook till the sugar dissolves.
  6. Prepare thick 3 thread chashni and add milk kesar and remove bubbles if appear.
  7. Cook chashni properly then off the flame and then add that churned powder with continuous stirring. Beat for 10 min and leave for some time.
  8. Mohanthal will expand so leave it for another 20 min
  9. Now spread it in greased tray and cut after some time, monthal is ready.
