Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup soaked soya granules
  2. 1/2 cup black masoor dal
  3. 1/2 Cup Channa Dal
  4. 2 Chopped Onions
  5. 1-2 green chilli
  6. 1 inch ginger
  7. 6-7 cloves garlic
  8. 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  9. 1/2 tsp black cardamom powder
  10. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  11. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  12. oil
  13. Salt

Instructions

  1. Soak both the dals for 4-5 hours
  2. Wash and pressure cook with little water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add chopped onions.
  4. When it turns brown add green chilly and ginger garlic paste.
  5. Add all the dry masala.
  6. Now add soaked soya granules and mix it well.
  7. Add cooked dal.If there is any water allow it to evaporate.
  8. Check for salt & spices.When it becomes thick switch off.
  9. Allow it to cool down and make small Tikki from it.
  10. Shallow fry them on low flame in another pan.
  11. When done serve hot with chutney/sauce of your choice.
