Instant Green Chilli Sweet and Sour Pickle

It is a very easy pickle. Ready in few minutes and very yummy.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Green chillies 250 gram
  2. Salt 3 tablespoons or to taste
  3. Vinegar 3 tablespoons
  4. Mustard oil 4 tablespoons
  5. Sugar 2 tablespoons
  6. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Garam masala 2 teaspoon
  8. For masala:
  9. Fenugreek seeds 2 teaspoon
  10. Red mustard seeds 4 teaspoon
  11. Fennel seeds 5 teaspoon
  12. Cumin seeds 5 teaspoon
  13. Carrom seeds 4 teaspoons
  14. Nigella seeds 2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. First, wash chillies and clean with a cloth. So that it becomes dry. Cut into small pieces. If you want to avoid more spiciness you can remove the seeds of chillies.
  2. Now heat a pan and add ingredients of masala except Nigella seeds into a pan and dry roast till the moisture of masala come out. Now remove it from pan and let it cool. On cooling put it into a mixer and make Powder.
  3. Heat mustard oil till smoking point and let it cool. Now add vinegar to chillies and mix well.
  4. Then add prepared masala.mix well.
  5. Add salt, garam masala sugar and turmeric powder and mix well. Add mustard oil and mix well.
  6. Your pickle is ready. Put it into a dry jar.if needed add some more mustard oil in the jar. Enjoy it.
