Ingredients to make Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce

  • 250 grams prawn deveined and cleansed
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic chopped (optional)
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon mustard paste
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tablepoon chilly powder
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour
  • 1 egg
  • Few leaves of parsley finely chopped
  • Water

How to make Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce

  1. This is the step to make prawns cripsy. In a bowl, put 1 cup of flour, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon chilly powder​, salt and water to loosen the batter
  2. Now dip the cleansed prawns in this batter and deep fry till light brown. Repeat the process until all are done and keep them aside
  3. : In a pan, add 1 tablespoon oil. Let it heat a little and then add the butter add the chopped garlic. If you don't want the garlic. Omit it. Add garlic paste instead.
  4. Now add the fried prawns to this. Add 1 tablespoon of the mustard paste, black pepper powder, lime juice and salt. Saute until all the prawns are coated with the sauce.
  5. Add the finely chopped parsley. Turn off the flame after another minute. Your crispy prawns in butter garlic sauce is done Enjoy!!

My Tip:

Frying the battered prawns is completely optional.It makes it crispy but it soaks up the sauce.
