Sattu Ka Ghol

Ingredients to make Sattu Ka Ghol

  • 1/4 cup Sattu
  • 1 ltr chilled water
  • Juice of a large lemon
  • 1tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 2 tsp mint paste
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli
  • Black salt
  • 2 to 3 tbsp powdered jaggery
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped Onion
  • Ice cubes

How to make Sattu Ka Ghol

  1. Grind the mint leaves, jaggery, green chilli along with salt and keep aside.
  2. Add Sattu powder to the chilled water along with lemon juice, mint jaggery green chilli paste, roasted cumin powder and mix everything well.
  3. Butter milk even can be used in place water.Check for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
  4. You can have this drink immediately or keep in the refrigerator to chill.
  5. Before serving add some ice cubes into each serving glass and pour the chilled Sattu Ka Ghol into it. Add some chopped onions and garnish with mint leaves.
