Ingredients to make Swiss Roll

  • eggs 4
  • Powdered sugar 100 gm
  • maida 100 gm
  • Baking powder 1/2tsp
  • sugar syrup 1/2 cup
  • coconut powder 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence few drops
  • Yellow food colour
  • Jam 1/2 cup

How to make Swiss Roll

  1. Separate egg yolk and white.beat them separately
  2. Sieve flour and baking powder together
  3. Mix yellow and white portions
  4. Add sugar and essence colour to it
  5. Now add flour little by little by sprinkling Put batter in pre heated oven @200 c for 12 -15 min
  6. Take out cake immediately after baking Trim sides and sprinkle sugar syrup
  7. Spread jam and coconut powder on it. Fold in shape of a log and keep it in the fridge for the setting. On cooling slice the roll

My Tip:

My cake was done exactly in 12 keep an eye while baking.
