Ingredients to make Broccoli Besan Curry

  • 1 large broccoli
  • 4 to 5 tbsp chick pea flour
  • sliced garlic
  • 2 dry red chillies or green chillies
  • tsp of cumin and mustard seeds
  • 1\2 tsp split black gram
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • pinch of turmeric
  • 2tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1\2 tsp chat masala
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • salt for taste
  • lime juice for taste
  • cooking oil

How to make Broccoli Besan Curry

  1. Take broccoli and cut into small size florets
  2. Take a wide pan and add oil when oil is heated add cumin, mustard seeds. when they crackle add half tsp split black gram, dry red chilies , sliced garlic, curry leaves and fry for few seconds
  3. Add broccoli florets and cook for few minutes
  4. Take a bowl and add chick pea flour.Add in all spices red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric, chat masala, salt.Add a tsp of oil and mix flour with added spices.
  5. Sprinkle chick pea flour on broccoli florets, uncover and cook for few minutes.Do not mix after adding besan
  6. Finally squeeze lime juice and serve with rice or chapathi

My Tip:

Do not over cook while covering
