Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Urad Dal - 1 and 1/4 cup
  2. Whole wheat flour - 1 tbsp
  3. Besan - 1 and 1/2tbsp
  4. Suji - 2 and 1/2 tbsp
  5. Sugar - 1 cup
  6. Water - 3/4 cup
  7. Ghee - 3/4 cup
  8. Dry fruits
  9. Cardamon powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak urad dal minimum for 2 hrs. grind to smooth paste with no water or little.
  2. Prepare sugar syrup using sugar and water of 1 thread consistency. When done add cardamon powder.
  3. Coarsely grind dry fruits and leave few dry fruits cut into pieces for decoration.
  4. Heat ghee roast atta, suji and Besan when smell starts coming add urad dal paste and sugar syrup keep stirring.
  5. Add coarsely ground dry fruits cook till ghee separates and the mixture is in an almost dry state.
  6. Let it cool for few minutes and shape into ovals and top with dry fruit pieces.
