Whole Masoor Dal

Ingredients to make Whole Masoor Dal

  • Whole masoor 2 cups (soaked for 6hrs)
  • Chopped onions 1 large
  • Chopped tomato 1 medium
  • Ginger paste 1tsp
  • Red chili powder 1tsp
  • Haldi powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Amul low-fat cream 2tsp
  • Lemon 1
  • Water 3 Cups

How to make Whole Masoor Dal

  1. Add chopped onions to the whole masoor.
  2. Add tomato.
  3. Add ginger paste
  4. Pressure cook adding 3cups water
  5. Let the cooker cool down
  6. Add oil and butter in pan.add jeera, red chili, Haldi powder, dhania powder
  7. Add it to the boiled dal along with salt and cream.After a boil switch off and squeeze lemon juice.
My Tip: You can add rajma too to this dal, soak rajma for 10-12 hours and pressure cook with whole masoor dal
