Kulcha Pancake with Punjabi Chole

Ingredients to make Kulcha Pancake with Punjabi Chole

  • For kulcha pancake:
  • Maida- 2 bowl
  • Curd - 1/2 bowl
  • Baking powder-1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder-1/4 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Crushed red chilli - 1/4 tsp(optional)
  • Water as required
  • For chole:
  • Kabuli chana- 250 gm
  • Onion- 2
  • Tomato - 1
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Garam masala- 2tsp
  • Chole masala - 3 to 4 tsp
  • Amchur powder - 1/4tsp
  • Salt

How to make Kulcha Pancake with Punjabi Chole

  1. Boil the Kabuli chana and keep aside.
  2. Grind onion and tomato and make a smooth paste.
  3. Now heat the oil in a pan and add onion and tomato paste.
  4. Put ginger garlic paste and saute till it leaves the oil from the side.
  5. Now put garam masala, chole masala and turmeric powder and mix it well.
  6. Put the boiled Kabuli chana and add some water .
  7. Add salt as per taste and cook for 15 min then add amchur powder.
  8. Now in other bowl add all mentioned ingredients for kulcha pancake and make smooth batter.
  9. Keep the batter for resting about 15 min
  10. Now heat the pan and pour the batter into the non-stick pan.
  11. Apply some ghee on the edges n cook it till both sides till it becomes brown and crisp.
  12. Now it's time to assemble the pancake and chole.
  13. Put some chopped onions and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
