Lentil Wrap

Ingredients to make Lentil Wrap

  • Red Lentil - 1 cup
  • Chopped Onion - 1
  • Green Chili - 1 Chopped
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Water as required
  • Chopped Tomato - 1
  • Coriander Leaves Chopped - 1 tsp
  • Mint Leaves - 1 tsp Chopped

How to make Lentil Wrap

  1. Wash and soak lentils for 2-3 hours. Strain and make a smooth paste by adding little water.
  2. Now mix onion, tomato, ginger, garlic paste, green chili, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, oil and salt.
  3. Now heat a nonstick frying pan and dd a drop of oil to it. Spread the lentil mixture evenly on it.
  4. Cover and sprinkle some water on all the sides of the lid. Cook on low heat for 10 mins or until one side becomes crisp. Now flip it add little oil and cover it again and sprinkle some water as before.
  5. When both sides turn crisp brown switch off gas. Take it out on a plate and spread some cheese spread or mayonnaise, garnish with chopped onion, tomato pieces, lettuce leaves or any leftover vegetable.
  6. Serve hot.
