Ingredients to make Coconut Peda

  • Desiccated coconut - 1 cup
  • Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Food color - 1 pinch
  • Dry fruits - For garnish

How to make Coconut Peda

  1. Turn on the flame, place a frying pan on it, add ½ cup condensed milk and desiccated coconut 1 cup and heat the mixture on low flame.
  2. Stir and saute for 3 to 4 minutes and add cardamom powder.
  3. When the mixture begins to leave the sides of the pan switch off the flame and remove the mixture of peda from pan and allow it to cool.
  4. When it get cool down, make 3 equal portions and add red and yellow color in two portions of dough, keep one original color, now make small balls and flatten it slightly.
  5. Roll the pedas in desiccated coconut and garnish with dry fruits
  6. Here, sweet, colorful, delicious coconut peda is ready to serve.
My Tip: It stays good for 5 to 6 days in the fridge.
