Ingredients to make Beans Burrito

  • For stuffing
  • Pinto beans. 300 grams
  • Finely chopped onions. 2
  • Finely chopped tomatoes 3
  • Oil 2 teaspoons
  • Salt
  • Burrito seasoning. 3 tablespoons
  • Baking soda. Pinch
  • For chapati dough Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Maida. 1 cup
  • Ghee. 2 tablespoons
  • Salt
  • water to knead dough
  • For Assembling Mozrella cheese lettuce onions tomatoes olives

How to make Beans Burrito

  1. 1. Soak pinto beans for 8 hours
  2. 2. Pressure cook beans with little water and pinch soda( 3 to 4 whistles).
  3. 3. Drain water.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and tomatoes for 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Add boiled and mashed pinto beans for 3 minutes.
  6. 6. Do the seasoning add salt and Burrito seasoning Cook on low flame till the mixture gets dried up. Let it cool.
  7. 7. For dough mix wheat flour maida ghee salt and baking powder. Add water gradually to knead soft dough like chapati..Let it rest for 3 hours.
  8. 8. Make 6 balls from the dough and roll large and slight thick chapati from it. Cook it like chapati.
  9. 9. Take 1/2 teaspoon oil on tava and heat chapati for 20 seconds both sides.
  10. 10. Take chapati in the plate put pinto beans mixture shredded mozzarella cheese lettuce onions tomatoes and olives and roll it up
My Tip: Salsa sauce In a bowl take tomato puree chopped onions tomatoes green chillies Coriander garlic green onions salt red chilli powder. Mix well. Raw salsa sauce is ready to eat with Burrito
