Ingredients to make Spicy Chicken Soup

  • 250 grams boiled/roasted chicken
  • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 1 inch piece ginger finely sliced or smashed
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped or smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Spring onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves - for garnishing

How to make Spicy Chicken Soup

  1. Take the chicken, shred it into pieces and throw away the bones.
  2. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add in the chopped onions as well as the spring onions and cook for 1-2 minutes until they turn into a slightly brown colour.
  3. Next, put in the ginger and garlic together, saute and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Add in the pepper and salt according to taste. Stir well.
  4. Put in the shredded chicken pieces along with the chicken broth. Let it simmer and cook, bring it to a boil.
