Potato Cheese Lollipop

Ingredients to make Potato Cheese Lollipop

  • Boiled and mashed potatoes : 5 medium size
  • Cheese cubes : 6
  • Coriander leaves : 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Capsicum :1 big, chopped
  • All purpose flour : 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour : 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste :1/2 tbsp
  • Oregano :1 tbsp
  • Chilli flakes : few
  • Salt as required
  • Bread crumbs - 2-4 tablespoon
  • Oil : For frying

How to make Potato Cheese Lollipop

  1. In a bowl add mashed potatoes, capsicum, coriander leaves, flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, oregano, chilli flakes and salt.Mix well.
  2. Take a little mixture in your palm, roll it in ball then flatten it and keep the cheese cube inside. Seal it and again make it into round ball. Make all balls like this.
  3. Make a thin paste of water and corn flour. Dip the balls into the corn flour paste and then roll it in bread crumbs.likewise do for all the balls.
  4. Keep in the freezer for 5 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the balls till they turn crisp from outside and cheesy inside.
  5. Serve hot with ketchup or mayonnaise.
My Tip: You can use minced chicken instead of potatoes.
