ABOUT Tofu Steak, Broccoli And Pine Nuts Sandwich In Black Bean Sauce RECIPE

I love sandwiches. They are fast to make, light to stomach, can wrap in aluminium foil ,pack it for lunch and also they don't make you sleepy or lethargic. Another interesting fact about sandwiches is that you can make a lot of unique combination of ingredients, team up with a nice sauce and there you go, people think you are a genius.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Tofu cut into Steak size- 2 pieces
  2. Broccoli florets boiled in water for 5 minutes - 4-6
  3. Roasted pine nuts - a handful
  4. Salad Leaves - A few
  5. Salt and pepper to taste
  6. Toasted Multi-grain Bread - 4 Slices
  7. Black Bean sauce - 1/2 cup
  8. Any Salad Dressing of your choice
  9. Tomato slices - 8-10

Instructions

  1. Cook tofu and broccoli in black bean sauce.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  3. Place some tomato slices, salad leaves on brown bread slices and gently spread the salad dressing of your choice.
  4. Add Tofu Steak on top of the dressing top it up with boiled broccoli. Repeat with all the bread slices
