Instant Jalebi

Ingredients to make Instant Jalebi

  • 1 cup - maida
  • 1/2 cup - curd
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 pinch - yellow food colour
  • Ghee for frying
  • 2 cups - sugar
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1 tsp - cardamom

How to make Instant Jalebi

  1. Mix maida, baking powder, curd and yellow food colour together and make a paste. Fill this in the piping bag. Deep fry them from both sides till they turn golden in colour.
  2. Then immediately transfer it into the sugar syrup.
  3. To prepare the chashni /sugar syrup, mix the sugar and water till it is of one thread consistency on a medium flame.

My Tip:

You can use a squeeze bottle instead of a piping bag.
