Ingredients to make Kung Pao Tofu And Broccoli Served With Rice

  • Broccoli Florets - 2 cups
  • Tofu Cubes - 250 grams
  • Carrot Slices - 2
  • Chopped Garlic - 2 tsp
  • Chopped Spring Onions - 2 tbsp
  • Dark Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato Sauce - 1/2 cup
  • Chili sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • Worcester Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Water - 1 glass
  • Corn flour - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Roasted and Crushed Peanuts - 2 tbsp
  • Dry red chili - 2

How to make Kung Pao Tofu And Broccoli Served With Rice

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non stick pan. Add tofu cubes and cook all sides till it turns golden. Remove in a plate.
  2. Heat another 1 tbsp oil in the same pan. Add broccoli , cover with lid till it turns soft. Turn occasionally to prevent burning.
  3. In the same pan, add carrot slices and cook for 2-3 minutes on both sides.
  4. In a deep flat pan, heat remaining 1 tbsp oil. Add chopped garlic and spring onions and dry red chili.
  5. Mix all the sauces with corn flour and water.
  6. Add to pan and bring it to simmer.
  7. Add tofu , broccoli and carrots.
  8. Add salt and sugar to taste and cook till you get the desired consistency to go well with steamed rice.
  9. At the end, add some roasted and crushed peanuts.
