Macaroni Carbonara.

Ingredients to make Macaroni Carbonara.

  • 100 % Italian durum wheat macaroni - 2 1/2 cups
  • Onions chopped - 2
  • Carrot chopped - 1 big
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Unsalted butter - 2tsp + 2 tsp
  • Garlic crushed - 1 tsp
  • Ginger grated - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh parsley chopped fine - 2 tsp
  • Carbonara Sauce - 4 tbsp

How to make Macaroni Carbonara.

  1. Keep macaroni to boil in enough water with 1 tsp oil and salt. Till that chop onions and carrot fine. Heat 2 tsp in a pan, add onions, add ginger and garlic, saute for a minute and add chopped carrots. Add salt and pepper.
  2. Check pasta, if ready strain and keep under cold running water.
  3. Now add pasta to the pan, add 3 tbsp carbonara sauce. Mix and allow macaroni to cook with pasta sauce for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add 2 tsp butter and turn off the gas. Your carbonara macaroni is ready.
  5. Serve with garnish of Parsley and Pomegranate seeds.
  6. You also can add boiled egg as garnish.
