Ingredients to make Bombay Chapathi Sandwich

  • mushroom - 1 packet (200gm)
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • onion, chopped -1
  • tomato, chopped -2
  • onion, sliced -1
  • tomato, sliced -1
  • chilly powder - 1.5 teaspoon
  • coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • Chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Mozerilla cheese - 100 gm
  • cucumber sliced - 1
  • potato cooked and sliced - 1
  • coriander leaves - one cup
  • Green chilly - 2
  • Chappatis - 5

How to make Bombay Chapathi Sandwich

  1. Grind coriander leaves, green chilly, half a tomato, salt to make chutney.
  2. In a kadhai heat oil and add ginger garlic paste, chopped onion and saute well. Add finely chopped tomato and saute till soft.
  3. Add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder,garam masala and salt and mix.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook on low heat with lid for five minutes.
  5. Take one chapstick and spread chutney and place sliced potatoes
  6. Spread grated cheese on a chapati. Place another chapathi and spread mushroom masala and grated cheese on it.
  7. Place another chapathi spread chutney and place tomatoes and sprinkle grated cheese.
  8. Place another chapathi spread chutney, place sliced cucumber sprinkle salt and pepper and some cheese. Place another chapathi and press on it.
  9. Heat a frying pan, add ghee and place the chapati sandwich on it and cover with a lid. Cook for 2 minutes on low heat then reverse and cook for another 2 minutes.
  10. Cut and serve hot.

My Tip:

In each layer sprinkle only a small quantity of cheese.
