Mango Doi/ Mango Yogurt

Ingredients to make Mango Doi/ Mango Yogurt

  • Thick curd 1 cup, Greek yogurt or simple mishti doi will also do.
  • Milk powder 2 tablespoon
  • Ripe Mango 1
  • Sugar 4 teaspoon ( decide as per the sweetness of yogurt)
  • Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  • Cardomom powder one pinch
  • Saffron for garnishing

How to make Mango Doi/ Mango Yogurt

  1. Peel and cube the mango.
  2. In a bowl take yogurt, condensed milk, sugar, mango cubes, and cardamom powder and mix.
  3. Blend it to a fine puree and pour in microwave safe bowl.
  4. Garnish with saffron.
  5. Microwave for 2 minutes in pulses of 30 seconds. Let it cool for 5 minutes and keep in freezer for 10-15 minutes to set.
  6. Serve chilled.
My Tip: Use fresh and thick yoghurt, sour one will not give a good creamy taste.
