ABOUT Mango Doi/ Mango Yogurt RECIPE

Let the mango magic take over this summer with this perfect chilled yoghurt dessert. This is mangoish version of popular Bengali bhapa doi. Done quickly in microwave and tastes yum. A good solution for quick dessert made with items easily available at nearest store.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Thick curd 1 cup, Greek yogurt or simple mishti doi will also do.
  2. Milk powder 2 tablespoon
  3. Ripe Mango 1
  4. Sugar 4 teaspoon ( decide as per the sweetness of yogurt)
  5. Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  6. Cardomom powder one pinch
  7. Saffron for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the mango.
  2. In a bowl take yogurt, condensed milk, sugar, mango cubes, and cardamom powder and mix.
  3. Blend it to a fine puree and pour in microwave safe bowl.
  4. Garnish with saffron.
  5. Microwave for 2 minutes in pulses of 30 seconds. Let it cool for 5 minutes and keep in freezer for 10-15 minutes to set.
  6. Serve chilled.
