EGG-BREAD PUDDING-

Ingredients to make EGG-BREAD PUDDING-

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 bread slice (without brown edges)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (upto taste)

How to make EGG-BREAD PUDDING-

  1. Mix egg, milk, sugar. Beat till sugar melts. Add bread small cut pieces to it.
  2. Caramelize sugar in a tin or aluminium vessel. Let it cool. Pour the above mixture into it.
  3. Take 2 glasses of water in the pressure cooker such that the vessel is half dipped in water. Cover the vessel with a heavy plate. Close the lid of the cooker. Allow it to whistle for 4 to 5 times.
  4. Switch off the stove. Remove the vessel. Let it cool.
  5. Remove the pudding from the vessel onto a plate by placing the vessel upside down. Keep it in the fridge for half an hour. Serve cool. Happy cooking. :)

My Tip:

A pinch of ilaichi/cardamom powder enhances the flavour.
