Ingredients to make Red Hot Chutney

  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 2
  • Chilli powder 1 spoon
  • Asafoetida 1 pinch
  • Oil 1 spoon
  • Salt

How to make Red Hot Chutney

  1. Roughly cut onion and tomatoes and blend in a food processor.
  2. Heat a pan, add oil and add the onion, tomato paste, asafoetida, a little water, chilli powder, and salt. Boil for a few minutes.
  3. Take it off from stove and spoon in a bowl. Serve with idli, dosa, roti etc.
