ABOUT Salmon in Onion Tomato Gravy. ( Shallow Poached Salmon) RECIPE

Salmon is a heart healthy fish. It is rich in Omaga 3 fatty acid, rich in protein, vitamin B 12, good source of potassium, loaded with Salanium, contains antioxidants. And it's preparation is very healthy. When ever i come to Singapore, i make sure to eat Salmon every week.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Salmon fillet 2
  2. Onion chopped 2
  3. Tomato chopped 2
  4. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  5. Garlic crushed 1 tsp
  6. Parsley fresh / dried 2 tsp
  7. Lemon zest of 1 lemon
  8. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  9. Soy sauce 1 tsp
  10. Chilli, crushed 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt and pepper to taste
  12. Water for sauce

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean the fish. Remove skin and bones. Cut fillets of desired size. Apply salt, pepper and lemon juice.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped Onions, saute, add garlic and green chilli paste.
  3. Now add tomatoes,add little water. Cover the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add soy sauce, give it a stir and add fish, and cook covered for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Add parsley and lemon zest.
  6. Serve this healthy poached fish to your loved ones.
