Ingredients to make Blooming Onion Flower

  • Onion- 2 big size
  • Salt-to taste
  • Coriander Powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilly powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil -2 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder- 1/4 teaspoon

How to make Blooming Onion Flower

  1. Peel and wash the onions.
  2. Make 4 vertical cut in each onion to create 8 wedges attached to the root. Be careful to cut the top side not the root side.
  3. Take a mixing bowl add cooking oil, coriander powder, red chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, oregano, garlic powder and mix well.
  4. Now pour this mixture on top of and around the onions.
  5. Preheat the oven and bake the onion at 180 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
My Tip: Use red onions.
