Restaurant Style Mutter Paneer Masala

Ingredients to make Restaurant Style Mutter Paneer Masala

  • 250 gm Paneer
  • 100 gm green peas
  • 1 tbsp soaked cashewnut
  • 1 tbsp soaked melon seeds
  • 3 Ripe tomatoes
  • 1 tsp of Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Dry fenugreek leaves / kasuri methi
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cream
  • 3 tbsp Clarified butter

How to make Restaurant Style Mutter Paneer Masala

  1. Grind together onion and tomatoes into a fine paste. Also grind cashew nut and melon seeds into fine paste separately.
  2. Now in a pan heat clarified butter and add the onion tomatoe paste and fry for 5 mins in medium flame.
  3. Add the cashewnut and melon seeds paste and fry till clarified butter floats on the top.
  4. Add all the spices , little fenugreek leaves and again mix well. Add little water and boil it for 5 mins.
  5. Add frozen green peas and cook it for 5 mins by covering the pan.
  6. Next add in paneer and incorporate it well.
  7. Add cream little water and salt and switch off the gas when it just starts to boil.
  8. Garnish it with some more cream and fenugreek leaves and serve hot with any indian bread of your choice.
