Curd Marinated chicken cooked in curd gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Curd marinated chicken fillets 350 gm
  2. Onions 3 (chopped)
  3. Tomato 1 (chopped)
  4. Garlic crushed 2 tsp
  5. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  6. Chilli paste 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder 2 tsp
  8. Chicken masala 1 tsp
  9. Oil 3 tsp
  10. Curd 1/2 cup
  11. Kasoori methi 2 tsp (roasted)
  12. Khada masala few for seasoning.
  13. Zeera 1 tsp
  14. Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tsp
  15. Ghee 2 tsp.

Instructions

  1. Apply chilli paste to the marinated chicken.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add khada masala and zeera. Let it splutter. Add chopped Onions, saute, add ginger and garlic, saute. Add coriander powder and chicken masala
  3. Add chopped tomatoes. Cover for 2 minutes. Now add curd, saute and add Chicken. Stir and cook for sometime.
  4. Adjust salt. Add hot water ( 1/2 cup), cook covered. I used chicken fillets to cook quickly but you can use whole chicken too.
  5. Crush kasoori methi between your palms and add along with ghee.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with coriander leaves.
