Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kansar lapsi - 2 cups
  2. Milk - 1/2 L
  3. Water - 1/4 cup
  4. Jaggery - 1/4 cup (adjust as per taste)
  5. Roasted suji - 3 tbsp
  6. Ghee- 2 Tbsp
  7. For garnish - Desiccated coconut, chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a pressure cooker add lapsi, milk and water, give 2 whistles then turn off the gas.
  2. Heat ghee in a kadhayi and when it melts switch off the flame and add grated jaggery. Add 2-3 tbs of milk. Switch on the gas and let the jaggery and milk cook.
  3. When the jaggery dissolves completely add the lapsi and mix well. Let it cook till ghee separates.
  4. Garnish with desicated coconut and nuts, raisins etc. Add khoya if desired. Serve hot.
