Ingredients to make Quick Bhadang In Microwave ( Kurmura Chiwda )

  • Murmura / kurmura - 5 cups
  • Curry leaves - 12-15
  • Garlic Cloves, Slit - 10
  • Peanuts - 1/2 cup
  • Salt as required
  • Powdered Sugar as required
  • Oil - 5 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
  • Hing - 1/4 tsp
  • Haldi - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder- 2 tbsp
  • Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies - 2

How to make Quick Bhadang In Microwave ( Kurmura Chiwda )

  1. Heat 5 tbsp of oil in a bowl in microwave for 2 min on high.
  2. Add mustard seeds, chilies, curry leaves, slit garlic. Mix well and microwave for 2 min. Add peanuts and microwave for total 2.5 mins taking out after every 1 minute or until nice aroma of roasted peanuts arises.
  3. Add hing, haldi, chat masala, red chilli powder, mix and microwave for 30 seconds. Add murmura, stir and microwave for 2 min taking out every 1 min. Lastly add salt and powdered sugar. Mix well and serve.

My Tip:

You may use either green chilies or red chilli powder instead of both if making for kids.
