Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Flaxseeds - 1 Cup
  2. Chana dal - 2 tablespoon
  3. Urad dal - 2 tablespoon
  4. Dried red chilies - 15 to 18
  5. Dried shredded coconut - 2 tbs
  6. Big lemon size tamarind
  7. Jaggery - 1 tablespoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. For Seasoning : Oil - 2 teaspoon
  10. Curry leaves - 10 to 15
  11. Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  12. A pinch of hing

Instructions

  1. Dry roast flax seeds on low heat till you hear popping sound. Also dry roast chana dal and urad dal till they turn golden.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add pinch of hing, mustard seeds and let them brown. Add dried red chilies and fry for 30 seconds. Add curry leaves and saute.
  3. Switch off the flame and add coconut, tamarind, jaggery, salt. Let it cool and then grind it into a powder.
