Ingredients to make Kale Chane Aur Aam Ka Achar

  • Raw mango - 1 kg
  • Peeled and crushed garlic - 4 tbsp
  • Kala chana - 2 Cup, soaked
  • Salt - 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder - 2 tsp or as per taste
  • Roasted fennel powder - 3 tbsp
  • Roasted fenugreek powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • Kalaunji - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard oil - 1 Cup
  • Heeng - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Black salt - 1 tsp

How to make Kale Chane Aur Aam Ka Achar

  1. Wash, remove the seeds then grate the mangoes. Add 1/2 tbsp salt,1 tsp turmeric and keep in the sunlight for a day .
  2. Soak the chana in water released from mango. Add all the dry ingredients and chana with crushed garlic.
  3. Put the pickle in a jar and add oil. Keep the jar in sun light at least 1 week. Pickle is ready to serve.
