ABOUT Fried moong Starter salad RECIPE

This recipe requires no cooking.The crunch comes from the deep fried moong, spice from the chilies, tang from the lemon and the freshness from the coriander. This salad is full of simple yet bold flavors and textures. A perfect "less is more" salad that is sure to leave you craving for more.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Moong Dal Namkeen - 200gm (I used Haldirams)
  2. Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  3. Green chili- 2, finely chopped
  4. Salt - a pinch
  5. Lime juice - 1/2 tsp
  6. Coriander Leaves - 11/2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Assemble the fried moong, chopped onion, green chili and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the lime juice and coriander leaves, toss and serve immediately.
