Nutritious Podi

Ingredients to make Nutritious Podi

  • Flax seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Groundnuts​ - 2 tbsp
  • Chana dal - 2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds - 1tbsp
  • Curry leaves - 30
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Red chilies - 5
  • Garlic - 5
  • Tamarind - Very small piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 drops

How to make Nutritious Podi

  1. Dry roast the curry leaves, red chilies, garlic, cumin seeds and tamarind separately​.
  2. Now roast the rest of the ingredients except salt in 2drops of oil separately.
  3. Allow all roasted ingredients to cool.
  4. Grind the cool ingredients along with salt into a fine powder.
