Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Masi (powdered) - 1 Cup
  2. Green Chilies - 5 to 6
  3. Onion (small) - 15 to 20
  4. Grated Coconut / Coconut Powder - 1/4 Cup
  5. Pepper Powder - 4 tsp
  6. Salt - 3 tsp
  7. Coriander (finely chopped) - for garnish
  8. Lemon Juice - 3 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take dried tuna fish / Masi and pound them well. Then powder them finely (you can also add dried red chilies while powdering if you want masala Masi powder) I have used the commercial masi powder here.
  2. Finely chop onion, green chilies, coriander leaves.
  3. Take the Masi powder in a mixing bowl and add the chopped onion, green chilies and give a mix
  4. Add grated coconut to the mixture along with coriander, pepper powder and salt and squeeze the lemon juice on top. Mix.
  5. This goes very well with idiappam (string hopper) and curd.
