Pan Baked Chicken Leg

Ingredients to make Pan Baked Chicken Leg

  • Whole Chicken Leg - 1
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 6 chopped 
  • Schezwan Sauce - 3 tsp 
  • Butter - 2 tsp 
  • Oil - 2 tsp 
  • Capsicum - 1 thinly sliced 
  • Carrot - 1 thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 thinly sliced
  • Soya sauce - 1 tsp 
  • Grated cheese for garnish (optional)

How to make Pan Baked Chicken Leg

  1. Take the washed chicken leg. Make slashes on it with a knife.
  2. In a bowl add salt, pepper, garlic, 2 tsp schezwan sauce, 1 tsp butter, mix well. Take the chicken and rub the mixture all over the chicken. Let it marinate for sometime.
  3. In a pan heat the oil. Lower the heat and lay the chicken leg. Cover the pan and cook for about 15 mins flipping the sides frequently for even cooking and prevent from burning it.
  4. Add the thinly sliced capsicum, carrots, onion, Soya sauce, remaining schzewan sauce and butter, mix well and saute all together nicely.
  5. Cover the pan and cook on high heat till the water released by the veggies is evaporated completely which will take around 5 mins.
  6. Remove them in a plate sprinkle some grated cheese and serve or serve as it is.
