Pickled Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients to make Pickled Cherry Tomatoes

  • 150 grams - Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Cup -Synthetic white Vinegar or Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Cups - Water
  • 1/2 Lemon zest
  • 1 tsp - Mustard
  • 1 Clove - Garlic, crushed
  • 2 sprigs - Dill leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbs - Sugar

How to make Pickled Cherry Tomatoes

  1. Wash, clean the tomatoes and keep aside. Collect all the Ingredients in one place
  2. Now prick the tomatoes all over with a tooth pick.
  3. Take a clean dry jar to pickle the tomatoes and put chilli flakes, dill, crushed garlic and mustard seeds at the base of the jar. Place the pricked cherry tomatoes on it.
  4. Now make brine by mixing water, vinegar, salt, lemon zest and sugar till sugar dissolves.
  5. Now cool this and pour the brine into cherry tomatoes add in the jar. Give it a gentle stir.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for almost a month. You pickled tomatoes will be ready to use.

My Tip:

Do not forget to prick tomatoes.
