Muthiya

Ingredients to make Muthiya

  • Goat meat, mince - 250 gm
  • Ginger - 2 inch piece
  • Garlic - 1 pod
  • Green chilies - 6 to 7
  • Salt - to taste
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cabbage - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  • Oil - for frying

How to make Muthiya

  1. Put all the ingredients in a jar and grind to a fine paste without adding water.
  2. Make round balls by squeezing excess water.
  3. Arrange all the balls in a deep pot. Cover the pot and cook it on a low flame till water comes out. (Without adding oil) Now remove the lid and cook it on a high flame till all the water dries out.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry all muthiyas on a low medium flame. Remove excess oil with kitchen towel.
  5. Serve it hot with green chutney, onion rings and lemon.
My Tip: You can enjoy it without frying too.
