Ingredients to make Microwave Kalakand

  • 200 gm - Sweetened condensed milk
  • 200 gm - Crumbled paneer or ricotta cheese
  • 2 tsp - Ghee
  • 1 tbsp - Warm milk
  • Few strands of Saffron
  • A pinch cardamom powder
  • Chopped nuts of choice
  • Microwave Safe Bowl

How to make Microwave Kalakand

  1. Mix the ghee, condensed milk and paneer in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes. Stir in between after 2 minutes.
  2. Soak the saffron in the warm milk beforehand. Add the saffron and cardamom powder to the milk mixture. Microwave again for 4 minutes on HIGH. Stir after every 2 minutes.
  3. Initially, the mixture would seem moist. But it will gradually come together and be a clumpy mass.
  4. Press into a well-greased pan and garnish with chopped nuts. Cut into pieces and serve.
