ABOUT Daawat E Ishq RECIPE

For attractive presentation I made a tomato stand for tikki.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Gravy : Butter - 2 tbs
  2. Fresh cream - 1/2 Cup
  3. Soaked cashew nut paste - 1tbs
  4. Tometo puree - 1/2 cup
  5. Chopped tomato - 1
  6. Chopped onion - 1
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbs
  8. Chopped bell papers - 1
  9. Boiled beans + peas - 1/2 Cup
  10. Grated paneer - 1/2 Cup
  11. Cheese - 2 cubes
  12. Kitchen king masala - 1/2 tbs
  13. Garam masala - 1/2 tbs
  14. Green chilli - 1
  15. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tbs
  16. Coriander + cumin seed powder - 1 tbs
  17. Turmeric - 1 tsp
  18. Kasuri methi - 1 tbs
  19. Salt as per taste
  20. For Tikki - Boiled & mashed potato - 1
  21. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbs
  22. Greated paneer - 1/2 Cup
  23. Coriender leaves - 1/2 Cup
  24. Soy sauce - 1/2 tbs
  25. Mayonnaise - 2 tbs
  26. Rice flour - 2 tbs
  27. Corn flour - 2 tbs
  28. Salt as per taste
  29. Green chilli - 1, chopped
  30. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbs
  31. White til - 1 tsp
  32. Garam masala - 1 tbs
  33. Chaat masala - 1/2 tbs
  34. Lemon juice - 1/2 tbs
  35. Oil - 2 tbs
  36. Big tomato - 1 (for stand)

Instructions

  1. For Gravy - Heat butter in a non stick pan add ginger garlic, green chilli and saute it for 2 min. Add onion & saute till golden brown.
  2. Add cashew paste & cook for 2 minutes then add tomato and cook for 5 min. Add bell paper and tomato puree & stir it continuously on high flame then add beans and peas. After 5 min add 1 cup warm water & stir it for 5 minutes.
  3. Add all spices, paneer, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves, kasuri methi, fresh cream and mix well. Finally add the cheese. Cook for sometime and turn off the gas.
  4. For Tikki - Mix all the ingredients mentioned under Tikki and make small size round patties / tikkis with your palms.
  5. Heat oil in nonstick pan and shallow fry the tikkis till golden brown from both sides. Make cuts in the tomato to make a stand. Place one tikki in each cut and pour the gravy over it.
  6. Garnish it with cheese, coriander leaves and curd. Serve with naan, roti, puri, rice.
