Cucumber Yogurt Dip

Ingredients to make Cucumber Yogurt Dip

  • 2 - Cucumbers
  • 1/2 tsp - Black Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Chilli flakes
  • 1/2 kg - Yogurt
  • 1 tsp - Roasted peanuts powder
  • 1 tsp- Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • Few curry leaves
  • 3-4 - Green chilies
  • Coriander leaves
  • Chat Masala a pinch

How to make Cucumber Yogurt Dip

  1. Peel and grate cucumber then keep it aside for 10 mins.
  2. Take yogurt in a bowl add salt, sugar, pepper powder, chilli flakes, peanut powder and finely chopped chilies. Mix well.
  3. Squeeze cucumber and drain the water. Add it to the yogurt mixture. Mix it well.
  4. Tadka- Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When they start to crackle add to the yogurt cucumber mixture.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and chat masala.
My Tip: Use cucumber water in dal.
